Paint Memphis 2021

The theme for the 2021 Paint Memphis mural festival was Community. I decided to paint an egret and added the words “Come Together” on a ribbon swirling around it and a bright red-orange sun in the background.

This was my very first mural as well as my first ever mural festival. It was a huge learning experience for me, and I was (and still am) incredibly grateful for the experience and opportunity to paint amongst many well-experienced and supportive muralists.
